Description

The ITBA Entrepreneurial Ecosystem brings together the startups founded by the institute's students and graduates and the people and organisations that support them. Its platform organises the ecosystem in six sections: founders, startup perks, mentors, investment funds, entrepreneurial projects and institutions. An interactive network links each startup to its verticals, technologies and business models, with unicorns and featured startups at the centre. It also runs immersion trips to benchmark ecosystems such as Silicon Valley and China, and keeps a community informed by email or WhatsApp.

Objectives

  • Give visibility to the ITBA community's startups and founders.
  • Connect founders with mentors, investment funds, perks and institutions.
  • Open the ecosystem to the world through trips to leading innovation hubs.

Main activities

  • A directory with six sections: founders, perks, mentors, investment funds, entrepreneurial projects and ecosystem institutions.
  • An interactive network of startups connected by their verticals, technologies and business models.
  • Silicon Valley Experience and China Experience: immersion trips with founders, companies, funds, accelerators and universities.
  • A community kept up to date by email or WhatsApp.

Results

  • 219 startups connected in the ecosystem network through 55 tags and 6,438 links (beta version). (Source: Plataforma de Impacto Emprendedor ITBA, beta cerrada, octubre de 2026)
