Joven + Programme

Benito Juárez Emprende 2026 · April to December 2026

A local entrepreneurship programme in Benito Juárez: entrepreneurial culture, hands-on training, support, productive links and sales, for young people and entrepreneurs.

Joven + Programme

Description

The programme treats entrepreneurial development as a local capacity-building policy, not as isolated courses. It works at the same time with secondary-school students, young people with their own initiatives, early-stage entrepreneurs, running businesses, local mentors and institutions, combining broad participation with focused support for promising projects. It is measured with indicators such as entrepreneurs surveyed, event attendance, projects formulated, schools and students taking part, entrepreneurs supported, active institutional alliances and participant satisfaction.

Problem or opportunity

In mid-sized cities like Benito Juárez, entrepreneurial potential meets common obstacles: less access to specific training, little systematic support, weak links between young people, companies and institutions, and difficulty turning ideas into sustainable ventures, selling and going formal.

Objectives

  • Spark entrepreneurial vocations in young people and secondary-school students.
  • Build concrete skills in existing entrepreneurs and small businesses.
  • Create a local entrepreneurial community with regular meetings and support networks.
  • Turn ideas into real projects: sales, validations or new productive units.

My role

Design and coordination of the programme: pillars, project portfolio, schedule and tracking indicators.

Main activities

  • Entrepreneurial culture: stories of local and regional entrepreneurs, an opportunities newsletter and a yearly entrepreneurs' After.
  • Training: Prendete Academy 2026, entrepreneurial skills workshops and meetings with local and regional entrepreneurs.
  • Support: mentoring, access to a seed fund and links with UNICEN's CICE and School of Economics, the Tandil Technology Cluster and other municipalities.
  • Productive links: visits to companies and ventures in Tandil and Buenos Aires, and a Young Projects Club.
  • Sales: support for local and regional selling, an «Emprendimiento Local» label, trade-fair visits and a local ventures portal.
